Kiturami Group Donated 'Kiturami Scholarships' to Five Municipalities, including Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do

Kiturami Group (Chairman Choi Jin-min) announced that it donated 'Kiturami Scholarships' to five municipalities, including Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do.

 

The scholarship awards amount to KRW 100 million for Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, and KRW 50 million each for Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, Pyeongtaek-si, Suncheon-si, Jeollanam-do, and Yeongcheon-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

 

Kiturami scholarships are provided to meritorious students recommended by each municipality to support and encourage their academic pursuits.

 

A company official said, "We hope that the recipients of Kiturami scholarships can be unburdened by financial obstacles to pursue their dreams as students, and thus, Kiturami Group will persistently fulfill its corporate social responsibility through various social contribution projects."

 

Meanwhile, Kiturami Group has been carrying out social contribution projects totaling KRW 56.7 billion over 40 years, including scholarship programs, academic research support programs, and educational institution development funds through its Kiturami Cultural Foundation and Kiturami Welfare Foundation.
