Nanokem (CEO Choi Young-hwan), Kiturami Group’s electronic precision affiliate, announced that it has entered a “Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Cooperation in Household Wastewater System Development” with WithMasters (CEO Kim Jong-ho), a developer of on-site water reclamation and sanitation solutions.

Under this agreement, Nanochem will provide key technical assistance to WithMasters for its “RT (Reinvented Toilet)” project, a next-generation sanitation system currently in development with support from the Gates Foundation. Nanochem plans to supply key precision electronic components required for RT production.

The RT project is a global sanitation innovation initiative launched in 2011 by the Gates Foundation founded by Microsoft founder Bill Gates, to improve sanitation in developing countries.

A Nanochem representative stated, "We will supply Nanochem's key precision components to ensure the uninterrupted development and production of the RT system, a global project."
