- Over 70,000 Scholarship Recipients Awarded Over 41 Years Since the Inception of the Kiturami Cultural Foundation in 1985
Kiturami Group (Chairman Choi Jin-min) announced that it has delivered Kiturami Scholarships to four local governments, including Wonju, Gangwon-do, as well as one educational institution, Daegu Technical High School.
The scholarship amount is KRW 50 million each for Wonju, Gangwon-do; Chungju, Chungcheongbuk-do; Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do ; and Uichang-gu, Changwon, and KRW 99 million for Daegu Technical High School.
Kiturami Scholarships are provided to encourage the academic pursuits of students recommended by each local government and institution.
A Kiturami Group official said, “We hope that students receiving Kiturami Scholarships will be able to ease their financial burdens and continue pursuing their dreams. Kiturami Group will continue to fulfill its corporate social responsibility through various social contribution initiatives.”
Meanwhile, through the Kiturami Culture Foundation and the Kiturami Welfare Foundation, Kiturami Group has carried out social contribution projects worth a total of KRW 61 billion over the past 41 years, including scholarship programs, academic research support programs, and educational institution development funds.
