Kiturami Group donates “Kiturami scholarship” to seven provinces including Gumi-si, Gyeongbuk

The Kiturami Group (chairman Choi Jin-min) announced that it donated “Kiturami scholarship” to seven provinces: Gumi-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Nowon-gu, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Dobong-gu, Seoul, Uijeongbu-si and Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, and Guro-gu, Seoul.

 

The 50 million won scholarship was donated to Nowon-gu, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Dobong-gu, and Guro-gu in Seoul, with 30 million won donated to Gumi-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Uijeongbu-si, and Pocheon-si in Gyeonggi-do.

 

The Kiturami scholarship is designed to encourage students with excellent academic records and students from low-income families recommended by each local government.

 

"We hope that the Kiturami scholarship recipients will grow their dreams by having the scholarship ease their financial difficulties. The Kiturami Group will continue to fulfill its corporate social responsibility by carrying out various social contribution activities,” an official from the Kiturami Group said.

 

In addition to scholarships, the Kiturami Group has been carrying out social contribution activities worth KRW 48 billion over the last 37 years, such as academic research support and educational institution development funds, through the Kiturami Cultural Foundation and the Kiturami Welfare Foundation.
