Kiturami Group (Chairman Choi Jin-min ) announced that the company presented the 'Kiturami Scholarship' to six local municipalities, including Nam-gu, Gwangju.
The scholarship support amounts to KRW 50 million each for Nam-gu, Gwangju, Dong-gu, Daejeon, and Songpa-gu, Seoul, and KRW 30 million each for Gwangyang-si, Jeonnam, Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam, and Jeongeup-si, Jeonbuk.
Kiturami Scholarship is given to encourage students who are recommended by each local government for achieving academic excellence or who are from low-income families.
An official responsible for Kiturami Group said, “We hope that the students who received the Kiturami Scholarship can alleviate their financial difficulties and make their dreams grow.,” and added, “The Kiturami Group will keep fulfilling its social responsibility through various social contribution campaigns.”
Kiturami Group has kept working on its social contribution campaigns worth KRW 51 billion for the last 38 years through Kiturami Culture Foundation and Kiturami Welfare Foundation including academic research support programs, educational institute support programs, as well as scholarship programs.
