Kiturami Group (CEO Jin-Min Choi) announced that the company had delivered the 'Kiturami Scholarship' to four municipalities, including Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon-do.
The corresponding amounts of scholarship funds are KRW 150 million for Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon-do, KRW 50 million each for Yeosu-si and Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam, and KRW 30 million for Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do.
The Kiturami Scholarship Fund is provided to encourage academic excellence for scholarship students, such as children from low-income families, with the recommendation of each municipality office.
An official from Kiturami Group said, "It’s our hope that the Kiturami Scholarship Fund will lessen the financial difficulties of deserving students and nurture their dreams. Kiturami Group will continue to fulfill its corporate social responsibility through various social contribution projects."
Meanwhile, the Kiturami Group has been carrying out social contribution projects worth KRW 51 billion over 38 years, including scholarships, academic research support projects, and educational institution development funds through the Kiturami Cultural Foundation and the Kiturami Welfare Foundation.
