- Kiturami Group presents 'Kiturami Scholarship' donations to six local municipalities, including Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do

Kiturami Group (Chairman Choi Jin-min) announced that it had presented 'Kiturami Scholarship' donations to six local municipalities, including Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do.

The scholarship donations amount to KRW 50 million each delivered to Namyangju-si (Gyeonggi-do), Chungju-si (Chungcheongbuk-do), Seongbuk-gu and Dongjak-gu (Seoul), and Jinhae-gu (Changwon-si), in addition to KRW 30 million to Hongseong-gun (Chungnam).

The Kiturami Scholarship is provided to motivate academic excellence for merit scholarship students recommended by each local municipality, namely children from low-income families. 

A company official said, "We hope that these Kiturami Scholarship donations will enable the student recipients to ease their financial difficulties and develop their dreams. Kiturami Group will stay committed to fulfilling our corporate social responsibility through various social contribution projects.”

Kiturami Group has been committed to operating social contribution projects worth KRW 51 billion for 38 years, through its Kiturami Cultural Foundation and Kiturami Welfare Foundation, with a focus on its scholarship program, academic research support programs, and educational institution development funds.
