Kiturami Group turns over “Kiturami Scholarship” donations to six local municipalities including Gyeongsan-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do

The Kiturami Group (CEO Choi Jin-min) announced that it had turned over “Kiturami Scholarship” donations to six local municipalities including Gyeongsan-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

 

The scholarship donations amounting to KRW 100 million were delivered to Gyeongsan-si (Gyeongsangbuk-do), with Jeonju-si, Iksan-si (Jeollabuk-do), Busanjin-gu (Busan), and Buk-gu (Daegu) receiving KRW 50 million each and Gumi-si (Gyeongsangbuk-do) getting KRW 30 million.

 

The Kiturami Scholarship Fund is provided to encourage academic excellence for scholarship students, such as children from low-income families, with the recommendation of each municipality office.

 

An official from Kiturami Group said, "It’s our hope that the Kiturami Scholarship Fund will lessen the financial difficulties of deserving students and nurture their dreams. Kiturami Group will continue to fulfill its corporate social responsibility through various social contribution projects."

 

Meanwhile, the Kiturami Group has been carrying out social contribution projects worth KRW 51 billion over 38 years, including scholarships, academic research support projects, and educational institution development funds through the Kiturami Cultural Foundation and the Kiturami Welfare Foundation.
