At Century Co., Ltd. (CEO Baek Hyun-soo), Managing Director Byeong-heum Lee received the ‘Presidential Commendation’ at the ‘2023 Awards Ceremony for Contribution to Development of the Machinery, Robotics, and Aviation Industries (Machinery Sector)’.             

Century Managing Director Lee Byeong-heum was recognized for his distinguished contributions toward driving technology development and boosting exports in the domestic refrigeration and air-conditioning field by concentrating on developing new eco-friendly and high-efficiency refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, new product development, quality control, and production management for the past 36 years.                       

In particular, he has exhibited strong leadership in improving quality and performance by participating in key tasks such as development, production, testing and inspection, and reliability evaluation of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment for nuclear power plants and naval ships.    

Based on this, he has pioneered footholds in export markets spanning overseas countries such as the UAE, China, Japan, Canada, and Spain, in addition to domestic nuclear power plants.
