Kiturami Group (Chairman Choi Jin-min) announced that the company had delivered the ‘Kiturami Scholarship’ awards to ten municipalities including Ulsan city. 

The scholarship awards amount to KRW 80 million for Ulsan city, KRW 60 million for Suncheon-si, Jeollanam-do, Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, Gunsan-si, Jeollabuk-do, Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do, Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do, Uijeongbu-si, Gyeonggi-do, Nonsan-si, Chungcheongnam-do respectively and KRW 50 million for Geoje-si, Gyeongsangnam-do.            

The Kiturami Scholarship is provided to encourage the academic studies of scholarship recipients recommended by each municipality, especially those with stand-out academic abilities and children from low-income families.

A Kiturami Group official said, “It is our aspiration that student recipients of Kiturami scholarships can lessen their financial burdens in pursuit of their dreams. Kiturami Group is committed to always fulfilling its corporate social responsibility through various social contribution projects.”        

Meanwhile, the Kiturami Group has been faithfully launching social contribution projects worth a total of KRW 51 billion for 38 years, including scholarship programs, academic research support projects, and educational institution development funds through its Kiturami Cultural Foundation and Kiturami Welfare Foundation.
