Kiturami Group (Chairman Choi Jin-min) announced that it had delivered KRW 100 million in talent development funds to Keimyung University (President Shin Il-hee).

In attendance at the ‘Kiturami Group Talent Development Fund’ donation ceremony held in Keimyung University’s Haengso Hall (located in Dalseo-gu, Daegu), were key officials including Chairman Jin-min Choi of Kiturami Group and President Il-hee Shin of Keimyung University.

As a donation by Kiturami Group, the Talent Development Fund worth KRW 100 million will commit △ monetary funds to establishing the ‘Keimyung University Mobility Campus’ for kickstarting the growth of the future mobility industry and training of professional manpower, and △ educational funds to fostering talent in the Department of Journalism and Media at Keimyung University, being split into KRW 50 million respectively.

Kiturami Group has actively undertaken social contribution projects for talent development and educational advancement through the Kiturami Cultural Foundation, which was established in 1985 by Chairman Jin-min Choi, founder of Kiturami Boiler, putting up his personal wealth.

Chairman Jin-min Choi of Kiturami Group said, “We hope this modest support contributes to attaining Keimyung University’s vision and enabling future talents to advance their academic studies,” and added, “By paying special attention, we will always provide support to students in perpetuating their studies and research in a conducive environment.”

Meanwhile, the monetary value that Kiturami Group has reciprocated to society over the 39 years since the establishment of the Kiturami Cultural Foundation and the Kiturami Welfare Foundation has amounted to KRW 55.3 billion.
