Kiturami Bumyang Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Young-soo), a refrigeration and air conditioning subsidiary/affiliate of Kiturami Group (Chairman Choi Jin-min), announced that Jeonju branch’s General Manager Kang Dong-in has earned the ‘Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Award’ at the ‘9th Mechanical Equipment Day Ceremony.’

General Manager Kang Dong-in of Kiturami Bumyang Air Conditioning was recognized for his contributions to developing the refrigeration and air conditioning industry through his efforts to widely proliferate and localize renewable energy, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment.

He has taken initiative to participate in the national policy of the new and renewable energy distribution project by distributing nearly 700 geothermal heat pumps to many industrial sites nationwide.

In addition, during the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, the company provided heat source equipment using domestic technology to the ice-making systems of major stadiums, such as Main Olympic Stadium, to substantiate the excellent caliber of Korean refrigeration and air conditioning technology.
