Kiturami Group (Chairman Choi Jin-min) announced that it delivered ‘Kiturami Scholarship’ to seven municipalities, including Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do.
The cumulative scholarship grant amounts to KRW 50 million each to Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, Dalseo-gu, Daegu-si, Masanhoewon-gu, Changwon-si, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do, and Namhae-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, KRW 40 million to Jeju-si, Jeju-do, and KRW 30 million to Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do.
The Kiturami Scholarship is provided to foster the academic dreams and pursuits of scholarship students recommended by each municipality.
A Kiturami Group official said, “We hope that students awarded the Kiturami Scholarship grants can pursue their dreams without being constrained by financial burdens. As always, Kiturami Group will continue to fulfill its corporate social responsibility through various social contribution projects.”
Meanwhile, Kiturami Group has been proactively undertaking social contribution projects worth a total of KRW 55.3 billion for the last 39 years, including scholarship programs, academic research support projects, and educational institution development funds through the Kiturami Cultural Foundation and the Kiturami Welfare Foundation.
