Kiturami Group (Chairman Choi Jin-min) announced that it participated in the '17th Korea International Heating, Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Fluid Exhibition (HARFKO 2024)' and unveiled customized HVAC solutions for various spaces such as data centers, semiconductor factories, and nuclear power plants.
The three core HVAC affiliates of the Kiturami Group, Kiturami Bumyang Air-Conditioning, Shinsung Engineering, and Century, have simultaneously unveiled their differentiated technologies.
Kiturami Bumyang Air-Conditioning showcased ▲ cooling systems including immersion cooling, the next-generation cooling technology for data centers, ▲ a scaled-down version of the world’s largest capacity cooling tower test facility (3,500 cooling tons), and ▲ a new single-width blower registered as part of the Chicago company’s product lineup.
Shinsung Engineering unveiled ▲ an energy-saving dehumidifier required for mass production of secondary batteries and ▲ a cooling technology that lowers data center cooling costs by utilizing renewable energy, such as water heat, geothermal heat, and ice storage.
Century featured ▲ its ‘oil-less air-cooled free-cooling turbo chiller’ that reduces energy usage in data centers by up to 30% compared to standard turbo chillers, and ▲ refrigeration and air conditioning equipment designed for nuclear power plants exported to various countries including the U.S., UAE, and China.
A Kiturami Group official said, “Kiturami Group, which has completely transformed from a boiler company to an over-arching heating and cooling energy group, stands at the forefront of proliferating Korea’s heating and cooling technology from boilers and air conditioners to data centers, secondary battery factories, semiconductor factories, nuclear power plants, and submarines,” and added, “We will continue to deliver total solutions that integrate heating, cooling, air conditioning, and energy, and make strides to achieve our vision of KRW 3 trillion in sales by 2030.”
